The Tournament of Champions (TTOC), a groundbreaking invitation-only competition is set to showcase the nation’s top All-Star Cheer & Dance teams. This prestigious event will take place on Friday, March 5, 2027, at the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas where competition will be based on levels not age divisions.
Designed to spotlight the highest levels of performance, TTOC will showcase All-Star Cheer (Levels 1-6) & All-Star Dance Teams (Hip Hop & Pom) for an unforgettable day of competition and recognition.
2027 Selection Process & Timeline
September 1, 2026 – Nominations Open
The road to The Tournament Of Champions™ officially begins.
Fans, coaches, event producers, judges, and industry leaders are invited to nominate the teams they believe have demonstrated championship-caliber performances throughout the season.
Throughout the nomination period, featured teams and nomination updates will be highlighted across Tournament Of Champions social media channels.
September 1, 2026 – October 16, 2026 – Nomination Period
During this six-week window, nominations will be accepted for teams competing in:
All-Star Cheer
- Level 1
- Level 2
- Level 3
- Level 4
- Level 5
- Level 6
All-Star Dance
- Hip Hop
- Pom
Note: Teams will be evaluated based on:
- Competitive success
- Strength of competition
- Consistency throughout the season
- Overall performance quality
- Sportsmanship
- Program excellence
- Championship potential
The Champions Return™
Reigning Champions Return
At The Tournament Of Champions™, reigning champions are given the opportunity to defend what they have earned.
As part of the 2027 event, the reigning champions from each All-Star Cheer Level and All-Star Dance Division will receive an automatic invitation to return and defend their title against the nation’s best programs.
These championship teams have proven themselves on the ultimate stage, and their legacy deserves the opportunity to continue.
2027 Championship Field
Each division will feature:
- 1 Automatic Invitation — Reigning Tournament Of Champions™ Champion (if applicable)
- 7 At-Large Invitations — Selected by the Tournament Of Champions™ Selection Committee
The result is a true championship showcase featuring the best of the best — where returning champions defend their crown and new contenders fight for their moment in history.

All nominations must be submitted by 11:59 PM (CT).
October 17 – October 23, 2026
Selection Committee Review
An independent Selection Committee comprised of respected industry leaders will review every nominated team and determine the official field of invited programs.
Committee members may include:

October 26, 2026
Official Team Announcement
The official Tournament Of Champions™ field will be unveiled.
Selected teams will receive their invitations before the public announcement, followed by:

- Team graphics
- Featured program spotlights
October 26 – October 30, 2026
Invitation Acceptance
Invited teams confirm participation.
Should an invitation be declined, an alternate team may be selected by the committee.
November 2, 2026
Final Championship Field Released
The complete list of participating teams and divisions is officially announced.
